Jeff Probst is an American television host and producer best known as the longtime face of Survivor. Born on November 4, 1961, Probst began his career in entertainment reporting before becoming host of Survivor in 2000, helping turn the show into a global phenomenon. Known for his authoritative yet personable style, he guides contestants through challenges and dramatic Tribal Councils, shaping much of the show’s tone and storytelling. Probst has won multiple Emmy Awards for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program and later became an executive producer and showrunner, playing a major role in the series’ evolution and longevity.
