Vaia Tsolas, Ph.D. is a psychoanalyst and a clinical psychologist who lives and practices in NYC. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein Medical School, and founder of Rose Hill Psychological Services. Dr. Tsolas has won multiple awards including the 2017 Klar best teacher award, the 2010 Lionel Ovesey and the 2007 Sacerdoti Prize. With works such as "A Psychoanalytic Exploration of the Body in Today's World" she focuses on issues of Otherness at the level of the body as well as at the societal. Tsolas also explores the concept of pleasure, the interconnection between the body and psyche, and the intricate nuances of Feminine Jouissance.
