Leo Gura

  • Founder of actualized.org (founding is a theme for the Ti function), Leo had a lot of struggles earlier in life like lack of motivation, fears, destructive habits, and lack of consistency in his work. Because of this, he got into the self-help genre and used it to try to improve every aspect of his life via self-mastery (a major Fe-Ti axis theme). He studied a huge range of self-help information, 10000 dollars worth a year, which speaks to his novelty seeking Pe function as the leading process. He tried many things without getting clear results, but eventually he found a set of techniques that he believes cause radical improvement and he wants to share them with others to help everyone reach their potential (Ne+Fe potentialist theme), though he is always expanding this. Now he is a quite successful life coach with his own creative business and set of principles, and he is a content creator (another major theme for Ne dominant people) who makes videos on dating, sexuality, practical life advice, spirituality, politics and society, metaphysics and epistemology, psychedelics and developmental psychology.

Victor Gulenko has been a renowned figure in the Socionics community for decades who has used his Pi to provide consulting and diagnostic services to hundreds of students, clients and fellow Socionists. True to the Si themes of his type, Victor's school takes a skeptical realist approach to Socionics diagnostics which is based not on what people say or how they see themselves, but rather their less disputable non-verbal signals and behavior in everyday real-life situations. His approach to diagnostics is holistic and synthetic (Pi), focused on tracking various empirical trends rather than building up the psyche from its parts (which would be a more J heavy approach). This comes together to form a dynamic indexical system (SiTe) of various functions and dichotomies within a given personality type, which can be characterized by how the functions and dichotomies evolve interactively (Je) within the psyche and in systemic relationship with other types in the world. The system is highly Modular (NeSi), with different levels of type (sociotype skeleton, subtype role, and specific functional accentuations operating at different levels of the communicative space: physical, psychological, social, intellectual) distinguished in the process of diagnostics.

Victor insists on building pragmatic theories which we can use concretely and refuses to engage in personal or idealistic theorizing, true to his Je development in the relative absence of Ji or Ni. Each of the types have a Social Mission which they naturally contribute to the world (Je), but also many other systemic life paths which they have the freedom to choose instead of their social mission, consistent with a Radial (TeFi) approach. Also true to his Si, Victor's approach to psychology is heavily historically grounded and builds atop the work of previous psychologists such as Hans Eysenck, Paul Ekman, Carl Jung, Daniel Kahneman, Ernest Kretschmer, Vladimir Lefebvre, Karl Leonhard, Dario Nardi, Gestalt Psychology and more.

  • Victor Gulenko is a prominent figure in the field of socionics, a founder of School of Humanitarian Socionics, based in Kiev, Ukraine, and a creator of a Model G and DCNH subtype system (Socionics). He has contributed significantly to the development and dissemination of socionics through his research, writings, and teachings. His work focuses not only on sociological aspects but also on practical applications of socionics in various aspects of life, such as interpersonal relationships, professional environments, and personal development. His contributions have been influential in both academic and practical circles, helping to advance the study of personality types and their real-world applications.

  • The laws in socionics, like in any other humanities discipline, always work, but it is neither determinism as in physics, nor automatism as in technology, but stable tendencies in the behavior of individuals and groups.
  • All of the human scences are closely related, they simply look at human beings from different angles.
  • The worst emotion that destroys compatibility between people is contempt. When you look down on someone, mock them, and say, "You are a loser," that’s it, the relationship is over.
  • In everyday life, socionics can only be applied when you have mastered operational diagnostics. To achieve this, you need to have the skill of observing small details that may seem insignificant to others in people's behavior, their facial expressions, gestures, and manner of speaking.

We see a lot of Pi and Delta Si themes even early on in his life: he came to be considered a person of wise counsel even from a young age, reading Hebrew by 6 years old, Shakespeare by 9 years old, completing an academic modal logic theorem before finishing high school and teaching graduate courses at MIT while only an undergraduate at Harvard. His influential "Kripkenstein" interpretation of Wittgenstein is noted for pointing out a perceptive skeptical problem, even if it is controversial. Most of his contributions to philosophy involve technical systems of indexical logics and semantics which restructure aspects of various branches of philosophy. This is especially suitable for Si+Te and has a lot of themes of the IT function (Fi ->Te), i.e. Principles of Abiotic Procedures. He is also known for being endearingly eccentric in how he comes across to others, another Seelie Delta theme.

He shows a lot of themes of the Worldview Energetic and Si in particular: thorough and fluid skepticism, meticulous arguments and proofs, commitment to realism and many enduring contributions to the wisdom of the Analytical philosophical tradition. He also shows signs of his conscious Fe and Je through his recognition of how facts and values cannot be completely separated, his interest in more ethical forms of philosophy and his practical contributions to logic and computer science. Overall he shows a lot of the light-hearted and socially aware philosophical inclinations of Alpha quadrant.

  • Hilary Putnam (1926–2016) was an influential American philosopher known for his work in philosophy of mind, language, and mathematics. A central figure in Western philosophy during the 20th century, he contributed significantly to the development of philosophical realism and functionalism. Putnam notably challenged conventional thinking through his "multiple realizability" thesis and "brains in a vat" thought experiment. An intellectual chameleon, he frequently revised his philosophical stance, earning him a reputation for breadth of thought and continual self-critique.
