Jon Hamm is an American actor and producer, best known for his critically acclaimed role as Don Draper in the television series Mad Men (2007–2015). Born on March 10, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri, Hamm pursued acting after completing his studies at the University of Missouri. He struggled early in his career, taking on minor roles before landing his breakthrough part in Mad Men, which earned him a Golden Globe and multiple Emmy nominations.
Beyond television, Hamm has appeared in a range of films, including The Town, Baby Driver, and Top Gun: Maverick. Known for his versatility, he has also lent his voice to animated series and taken on comedic roles in shows like 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
