Andrew VanWyngarden is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of MGMT, the Grammy‑nominated psychedelic and synth‑pop band. He helped shape the band’s surreal, genre‑blending sound, gaining global recognition with hits like 2008's “Kids" and "Electric Feel". Outside the band, he also records under the alias Gentle Dom and continues creating experimental, art‑driven music.
